Congratulations to Bill Preston for receiving the first Legends of Washington Wine Hall of Fame award!
Our founder S.W. (Bill) Preston (1931-2001) won this esteemed award at the Inaugural gala in Prosser, WA July 8, 2006. There were 5 nominees who were nominated by peers. This center is in it's initial construction phase with plans of opening in late spring 2007. The Walter Clore Wine and culinary Center will "showcase the quality of Washington wines by promoting modern day viticulture, enology and culinary practices through education".-Lorretto Hulse
